We are going to be redoing our entire images section with our newest soon to be official staff member MajinJT. Expect lots of more images organized in categories.
It became nearly impossible to offer free hosting to the tons of people that wanted it so we will introduce our newest paid hosting service soon. I guarantee that this service will provide unmatched service with an unmatched price. |

I've been rather surprised thus far at the response from you guys as well as the variety of suggestions, so far it looks like the winning "subject" could still be decided by you guys...it's that close. ...you have a little over 24 hours left, as I will close the submissions MIDNIGHT friday night. |

Here is what FUNimation had to say about FOX's acquistion of DBZ Movie rights. From FUNimation's DBZ page.:
FUNimation Vice President and Producer Daniel Cocanougher had this to say: “FUNimation is very excited to be working with FOX in their production of a live-action Dragon Ball Z Feature Film. FOX plans to place this movie on a fast-track production schedule, and may have a movie released as early as Fall 2003 or Summer 2004. FOX is an excellent movie studio, producing such huge hits as X-Men and Star Wars, among many others. They feel that this project will not end with one movie, but will become a major, multi-picture franchise like Star Wars. Clearly, this is a remarkable upward turning point for the Dragon Ball Z property. It will also be very interesting for all Dragon Ball Z fans to try to predict the names of the stars, the director and producers, and the storyline that will be used. FUNimation plans for its web site, www.dragonballz.com, to be the focal point of information on the production of the movie and all the fan events leading up to it. We would like to thank all the Dragon Ball Z fans worldwide for creating the excitement that allows such a major announcement as this—the new, completely original, live-action movie: Dragon Ball Z.” |

| FUNimation Seeks Input From Fans |

| In a very encouraging and fan-oriented move, FUNimantion has announced the beginning of its Operation Anime program. Legitimate anime fan clubs that register with the program will be provided with free videos and promotional material for a special club screening. In return for the material, which clubs get to keep, club leaders will report reactions and comments on the FUNimation videos back to FUNimation. |

We've received and setup five hostees already... (actually all five were setup several weeks ago). Currently it looks like we will except no more free accounts.
But we will have a new program up that will contain a great package for small webmasters. Unfortunately it won't be free or we would just be another Geocities or Angelfire but we will offer far greater services without inserting any banner ads, pop-ups, or any other form of advertisement. |

| Capcom vs. Dragonball? |

Recently there has been a rumor going around about a new game by Capcom. Here is what EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) had to say:
"It's time to enter the twilight zone for this next rumor, kiddies. Capcoms's next team-up in thier popular Vs. series? Capcom VS. Dragonball Far-feteched, yes. That's in addition to Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 which is already in developement. All i'm gonna say is, what kind of bizarro world are we living in when the World Warriors and Super Saiyans can battle each other in mortal combat? And don't most of the DBZ dudes have the same darn attacks anyway? it'd be a fireball fest, that's for sure."

Due to a few (Dozens) of e-mails requesting that I do "________ kind of wallpaper," I have decided to officially open the floor to DBZ Wallpaper requests. Therefore I encourage you to e-mail me within the next 2 WEEKS, after which I will stop accepting suggestions.
A few requirements though:- Must be DBZ Related
- Someone OTHER than Goku (let's be more original)
The most frequent suggestion (or closely related suggestions)will then be announced along with A NEW WALLPAPER.
Better get crackin'... the clock starts....now. |

Animenation.com posted recently that Fox has secured the rights to produce live action Dragonball film(s). Apparently a representative from Fox flew to Japan and signed a deal with Akira Toriyama himself,(maybe Toriyama will keep them on the right track). This looks like it will actually happen.
I was originally informed by our newest staff member Biff. He couldn't post this himself as his image is not yet ready. |
