April 2002

All Email's Being Read
Posted by: Nazmune - Monday, April 29, 2002 @ 9:15 PM ET
Hello, for the last couple of months I've been getting tons of mail... Staff applications, fan art, fan wallpapers, and other site specific email make up most of the email I get. Unfortunately it's nearly impossible for me to respond to them all nowadays. But I do read each and every piece of email and look at every single piece of artwork. When something stands out I usually respond...

Review for Rebirth of Fusion
Posted by: Biff - Thursday, April 11, 2002 @ 1:30 PM ET
Stayed home today because of my horrific visit to the dentist. So I decided I'd watch "Rebirth of Fusion" and write a review for it. So whenever Nazmune gets home it'll be up.

New Forum Mods selected
Posted by: The Celestrian - Thursday, April 11, 2002 @ 3:49 AM ET

Well, after about 7 submissions for becoming a mod, I selected two; both have Moderating experience, and both are known in the Community in they're own way. IF you have any questions / flames as to my selections, e-mail me AND ONLY me about them.

First, hailing from Fremont, CA. Weighing in with a whole lot of DBZ Fan love and support. Our first mod is our returning Madd Skittle.

...and now for the shell-shocker.

The other mod, which after much conferring was supported. Hailing from North Carolina, this mod is definately known instantly when his name is spoken. DBZN Welcomes the Bad Boy of the DBZ Community, Chibi Maverick!

Why you ask? Two reasons; Forums / Communities get old, stale and BORING when everyone has the same opinion about everything. Therefore, the DBZN truly has diversified our Forum's ideological makeup with this addition of about two individuals who are different in just about every respect.

And Two: Because now everyone's going to want to put their two cents in. It's called involvment, and for better or worse, we at the DBZN encourage you to get involved and speak your piece.

What better time than now to do so?

New PS2 Dragonball Z Games This Quarter
Posted by: Nazmune - Tuesday, April 9, 2002 @ 7:42 PM ET
As I was scrolling down IGN.com recently I noticed that there will be a game coming out specifically for the PS 2 within 3 months. We've been aware of the Gameboy Advance games but almost completely forgot about the PS 2 ones. Hopefully this game will be a lot better then it's Playstation counterparts(being developed by totally different company this time).

Community Awards
Posted by: Madd Skittle - Tuesday, April 2, 2002 @ 6:47 PM ET
Okay, folks, here's the deal. The community has brought together a fan-oriented Awards page, hosted on my site, Masenko-Ha.com.

Here's what we need from you:

We need you to vote! Please send in your e-mails; an opportunity like this will help revive, refresh, and motivate the community...

...if it gets big enough.

And this is where Webmasters and Webmistresses come in. Like the idea? A link or a plug would be so incredibly appreciated. Theoretically, the awards page should get a lot of traffic in the future, given that it gets the proper start. We need the links and the plugs in order to get the site off to a good start.

At the very least, please just take a look.
