Volume two of the the Tenchi Muyo GXP series, Academy Life, from FUNimation will be available this Tuesday 4/20/2004. Trailers for the volume and a synopsis is available for this absolutely hilarious series..
Short Synopsis by the main character:
Believe it or not, I actually made it to the Galaxy Police Academy in one piece! Not an easy task considering my notoriously bad luck. I somehow managed to ruin the computers at the Academy, so Professor Tennan is pushing me pretty hard in P.E. class. All the other cadets have undergone a special body enhancement so that they can run faster, jump higher, and train longer than a regular old Earthling like me. Thank goodness for Amane. She’s managed to get me a date with the body enhancement lab. Finally I’ll be able to keep up with my classmates. Well, if I can survive Amane’s special brand of training, that is.

| News from FUNi, "Cartoon Network is planning to debut Case Closed (the popular series known as Detective Conan in Japan) on Monday, May 24. The series will run Monday through Thursday at 12 midnight E/P during the Adult Swim Block. Watch Conan solve impossible cases as “One Truth Prevails!" |
