CALLING ALL ANIME FANS!
Posted by: Jimmy - Friday, August 13, 2004 @ 11:29 PM ET
Anime Network is searching for a few good recruits in each and every market where Anime Network is available (both - 24/7 and VOD). Do you have Anime Network? Do you watch Anime Network? If you answered yes or DUH! to both these questions, then you are qualified! We need Field Ops to feed us with reports on what they are seeing (on the Network) at GROUND LEVEL. You will be our eyes, and ears and we need you to let us know when there is a glitch, a missing program, the wrong program, etc.

We've teamed up with our sister company, ADV Films, and will be sending a NEW RELEASE on DVD every month to our Field Ops for the duration of their tenure.

If you are interested, we ask that you let us know (via email to fieldops@theanimenetwork.com) why YOU are the ideal Field Ops go - to person. Tell us why Anime Network NEEDS YOU! When you send your email, please include where you live, complete with address, city, state and zip code and who your cable provider is.

If you are chosen, additional information will be provided on 'how to report', 'where to send reports', etc.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Anime Popularity

According to Lycos in its top 50 most searches, Pokemon is #21, up from #31 last week. Dragon Ball Z, however is #25, down from last weeks 13th place. Also, Inuyasha is at #36 and Yu-Gi-Oh is at #42.

It's surprising to see these results, since Pokemon has a higher ranking then DBZ and Yu-Gi-Oh.
