Mini Review, Episode 252: Ready to Fuse?

Synopsis:

In the past couple of episodes Gohan was severely kicking Majin Buu’s butt right up until Buu absorbed Gotenks and Piccolo. Now Gohan is in the losing end and things look bad for Earth. Up in Kai’s planet in heaven (or the other dimension as dubbed in the U.S.) elder Kai gives up his life for Goku which is made visibly clear though the halo transfer from Goku’s head to elder Kai. As the old guy explains fusing and the Potara fusion earrings to Goku, Gohan is getting his butt kick and is need for immediate aid that Goku cannot provide. Tien comes to the picture and uses his tri-beam attack which doesn’t scratch Buu but does delay him somewhat.

Right when Buu is about to blow up the Earth, Goku attacks Buu with what seems to be a destructo disc type attack (one of Krillin’s trademark moves) to cut Buu in half. He throws a Potara earring to Gohan (who doesn’t catch it) but soon after that the Gotenks fusion runs out within Buu and a good portion of his strength is gone. Goku tells Gohan not to put the earring on as he can defeat Buu easily now. Will Goku be able to defeat Buu or will Buu find away to defeat him? Find out by actually watching this episode (or the next one tomorrow if you can't watch this one).

Review:

This review had some pretty dramatic parts like when Goku teleports to earth and cuts Buu in half. The music was pretty decent (*cough, I didn't watched the whole episode today and forgot to really analyze music, cough*), similar to the episodes above and below this one. There was plenty of action in this episode while not as much as during the early Buu saga or the upcoming fights coming up later on. All in all it was a pretty good episode that will keep you entertained quite a bit and unless you’ve seen the entire series (or at least this part of the series) like me two years ago it will keep you in suspense too.
