Mythology

Some might think that Akira Toriyama was able to envision a truly fantastic universe, all from scratch based on what they see in Dragonball and Dragonball Z. However it may be that he envisioned a truly fantastic universe, it wasn't all from scratch. Much of it comes from ancient mythology and stories.

The purpose of this section is to educate viewers on the Myth behind the show, the ideas revolving around Japanese society that resulted in DBZ turning out the way it did. Through this, we may learn to better enjoy the show, or we might just enjoy possessing the further knowledge. Either way, it's up to you to make the most of this.
