Oni

Also Known As: Shiko-Me, Mono

Oni can be seen in Dragonball as the blue or green guys who wear shirts that say HELL. Perhaps one way to drive in proof is that they end every sentence, in the japanese version, with the word "oni".

The actual description of these beings is taht they look like humans.... except that they have 3 eyes, 3 fingers, 3 toes, a big mouth, and horns and sharp nails..... often giant. They are red or green, and the oni of hell are a bit different in that they have the heads of oxen or horses. Those of the earth can be pink, red, blue or gray and wear a loin cloth of tigerskin. If the oni is dressed in red, he is responsible for diseases and epidemics. However, don't let any of this be your guide since some are invisible, and they're also shapeshifters, able to look like both living beings and inanimate objects. They are the equivalent of devils.

Their role is fairly straightforward, they serve Enma Daiou both in Jigoku and abroad. Known to fly, one of thier main goals is to deliver the accused to the judges (Enma Daiou and his sister perhaps) of Jigoku in a flaming chariot. They also have a reputation for raping women, and under the Shiko-Me name of being storm deities.
