Namco Licenses "Rock the Dragon" From FUNi
Posted by: Nazmune - Tuesday, August 31, 2004 @ 11:16 PM ET
It seems that Namco has decided to include good old synthesized music from old Dragon Ball Z dubs in their new game, Taiko: Drum Master. Rock the Dragon is probably one of the more memorable DBZ songs (can it be called a song?). Personally, I'm a bit shocked by the news... Never imagined the song getting licensed by a game maker for a non DBZ game. More details including the other songs can be found at our sister site, Animedd.com.

'Chrono Crusade' Anime Coming Soon
Posted by: Jimmy - Friday, August 20, 2004 @ 12:37 AM ET
Action, comedy, and much more is abound in the up and coming ADV release of Chrono Crusade. A Japanese animated television series that follows a pretty young nun by the name of Rosette, and her demon hunting hobby... Sister Rosette Christopher will go to any length to cleanse 1920s New York of that which lurks in the shadows, and coming along with her, are some rather interesting characters as well. Distributed by A.D. Vision, Inc., this is one very highly anticipated anime series.

Coming soon from ADV is a unique Japanese animated television series; an anime about how to deal with demons and exorcisms the way one is supposed to deal with them... with automatic machine guns. Chrono Crusade is an action and comedy anime based on a manga of the same name that follows a gun-toting nun and her partner in an effort to help save New York City from the dangers that lurk in the dark. Popular for its high-end action, wonderful characters, great laughs, and excellent design aspects, Chrono Crusade will most certainly be one of the more popular releases of the fall and winter seasons.

Jimmy Kudo is just such a detective. But there is something unique about Jimmy…he is still in high school! As Jimmy aids the frustrated Officer Meguire in a homicide investigation at a crowded amusement park, two mysterious men in black assault the super sleuth and feed him an experimental drug, which causes him to shrink to childhood size.
